I loved reading this quick list on ways to get unstuck! In my brain injury recovery process, depression has been, and sometimes still is, a factor I have to deal with regularly.
Depression is a common occurrence for anyone dealing with Trauma of some kind. Trauma can create shifts in brain chemistry and one key part of brain chemistry is the production and use of neurotransmitters, chemicals that have a direct effect on how we feel day to day and even moment to moment. Interrupting this cycle of stuckness has been the second best tool (after acupuncture) I use to get me out of the depression cycle and into a better mental frame of mind.
